Among the various thicknesses of vinyl flooring, 2mm vinyl flooring is the most affordable. The glue-down method is commonly used to install 2mm vinyl flooring.

This thin layer of flooring is extremely sensitive to subfloor imperfections.

Vinyl flooring with a thickness of 2mm can be installed over a levelled and smooth concrete subfloor. Such a strong subfloor will be able to support vinyl flooring that is only 2mm thick.

Due to its thin wear layer, 2mm vinyl flooring is considered the least durable of the others in terms of durability. As a result, 2mm vinyl flooring is only appropriate for low-traffic areas.
