1. What is the different between real wood and man-made / artificial wood floor?
Real wood refers to natural timber which basically cut from the tree into planks of different sizes, while man-made / artificial wood are reconstructed materials made from other component such as PVC, sawdust, stone powder etc finished with wood looking deĢcor paper.
2. Which type of timber floor should I choose?
We need to know your lifestyle and main concern on the timber flooring before we can recommend.
3. Can I install new timber floor over my existing floor finishes?
Yes, you can if the existing floor finishes is NOT un-even like slate or pebble wash. We can provide our recommendation after actual site visit.
4. How much wastage to allow when doing budgeting / estimation?
For small area like below 200sf, suggest based on 10% wastage. For area bigger than this, you may base on 5% wastage.
5. Is it necessary to have skirting?
Skirting is required for wood expansion as wood are alive. On top of that, installing skirting can also avoid wall stain due to regular mopping.
6. Is your wood floor termite resistant?
Yes, all the man-made / artificial wood are termite resistant. For natural wood, during its manufacturing process, each piece of wood is put through a high temperature procedure that allows for resistance towards termites.
7. Does timber floor contain formaldehyde?
Our products are tested to be safe from formaldehyde.
8. How do I clean the timber floor?
Sweep or vacuum your floor regularly to remove loose dirt, grit, or sand before any possible scratch to the surface. You may also mop the floor with a moist mop under full ventilated condition to ensure dryness.
9. How to maintain timber floor?
– Wipe spills immediately before they get sticky or dry.
– Support furniture and heavy appliances with wide-bearing, non-staining glides, or casters.
– When moving furniture or heavy appliances, place a clean piece of carpet faced down, and slide them carefully.
– Maintain humidity with air-conditioner or dehumidifier.
– Place a quality doormat at entrance to help capture any abrasive dust and grits from being tracked onto the floor.

Every timber flooring has their own pros & cons. Therefore, there is no best timber flooring but most suitable timber flooring to your lifestyle.
